Hi all i just wanted to start this build thread as im now the proud owner of a Haya Gepard sold at Tankfest (2025) as I travel home with all the the bright ideas I have in my head for it I'll give you a few details of the model so far that ive seen.

• Metal Chassis
• metal suspension arms
• metal wheels, drivers & Idlers
• Clark TK50 inside already
• 360° turret rotation with 87° Horizontal on the gun barrels
•light/smoke for the gun barrels
•exhaust smoke
•Folding & rotation on the search radar.
• rotation Vertical/Horizontal with the track radar.






Proper pictures to follow I intend on starting with weathering and detail work such as aerials.

Yea, he said they will be soon. i also was given a hand painted picture of the Gepard - he wanted to give those at tank fast first dibs there where only 3 I believe including a demonstrator model, so I dont know if that sold, i snapped up a boxed one fast after missing out on another tank i had interest in. He sold me on it as it has literally everything i would do to a model done for less money, so im a happy man, as I say just cosmetics to add

There have been rumours, on the grape vine about the Gepard. I missed out out on the Chieftain last time. Have to persuade the wife.

So i have finally arrived home, I couldn't wait - here is a quick and dirty un built open deck function test, i fumble the controller a few times but all in all im very impressed with its out of the box performance. This is with its own Haya controller. For now im very impressed by the quality of the gepard it feels premium so far

Ps speaking to Andrew hes hinted to me his next projects are a Re worked suspension Chieftain & a Leapord 1

A few photos of the Gepard mostly assembled, came together quite easy usual kind of things like scraping off flash and filing out a few holes for parts to fit correctly the only "major" issue i see is that stainless steel rods inside the barrels are slightly to long and will have to be cut down slightly in order for the external barrels to sit flush. So for now I have no internal barrels fitted.
