Toucan Hobby

for those looking for a quick turn around on a henglong, I would suggest avoiding Toucan Hobby. I ordered a 1/16th scale Henglong King Pro from them, through Amazon, thinking I would have additional protections, and get a product faster, as it was shipping from the U.S., boy was that a mistake. they charged an additional $65 for shipping. I took delivery in just under a week, I think it was 5 days. The product fell out of the box in pieces. When we requested a return for the Item, it cost another $95 to ship it back to them. They are so slow to respond, i had no choice to pay the ridiculous shipping charge, because the window for return was closing, and i didnt want to get stuck with a $300 pile of parts. long story short, I paid $150 in shipping for a $300 tank, that I now dont have. Im still waiting for any sort of response from them to see if they are willing to make any attempts to make this right. will keep you all posted!

I am sorry for your unfortunate experience. In the past five years I have ordered more than once from Toucan Hobby and had no problem whatsoever. I order directly from their web site. One does need to be careful, as other vendors on eBay and Amazon masquerade as Toucan Hobby, and there is even a web site with a similar URL, but is not actually Toucan Hobby.

Here's an interesting thread chronicling a weird Amazon/Toucan Hobby purchase involving a busted up Abrams complete with dog slobber. Toucan did a good job getting things taken care of for the new owner, so there's hope!

Better to buy through AliExpress, cheaper and the returns are free
