So today my First ever RC tank arrived. I went for a HengLong 1/16th scale. I have to say I love military history especially the European theatre of WW2. So I went for a German tank.
Panther V. Only have it out the box and checked to make sure it runs. I will have a play with the settings at the weekend. Quite a few things to learn.
I can’t wait get it outside.

GREAT! Enjoy yourself. If anyone can take photos or video of you with your new Tiger I, I'd bet it would be fun to see.

H'mmm methinks you may have gotten the infamous "PanTiger" since you mention "Panther V" instead of "Panther G". We'll see soon enough.

Mr Hill, you have a version we know as a Pantiger.................
It is not ever advertised as this, but its an early-early Heng Long hybrid fantasy of a Tiger 1 lower with a Panther A (ish) upper.
Its in no way accurate, but in saying that , few are.
If you are indeed keen on WW2 historical subjects, and wish to salvage some reasonable result from this, please find a way to purchase a Tiger 1 early upper hull & turret, with rear plate..
The new upper will fit straight onto the Pantiger lower, swap out the rear plate, and Voila, you have a Tiger. to start on.
The Pantiger turret & upper hull are useful donors for conversions, but not for the beginner or faint hearted
Or, just use it as a practice run for ideas, techniques and painting & run it to death
