Happened upon these original photos and description of this car on a Porsche FB group and thought of this post.

What a find! Now everyone with a little Kriegskäfer will have to fit in a front drive axle, two extra levers, writing table, and a fountain pen. I bet some RCTW wizard does it soon!

They also had a version where the right rear seat folded down to form a map table as well
