Hi everyone! Because I cant afford the Tamiya Sheridan lol, there is no Sheridan from Heng Long or Coolbank so I decided to have it printed.
Once the all parts have been printed and the absence of an instruction manual, I had to study which parts first to assemble and construction became the most challenging part.
The model needed plenty of self tapping screws of different sizes and fortunately I hoarded excess screws from my previous years collecting Tamiya RC Cars and they were more than enough to complete this build.

Initially I planned to use a Heng Long Gearbox which was recommended but I eneded up using the electronics and gearbox from my Coolbank Stuart.

I realized that using the Coolbank Stuart electronics also required to use the Stuart gearbox because the gearbox uses a second motor for the pirouette action of the tracks.
Still using the HL gearbox but only for the final drive shaft, I removed the other gears and trimmed the frame to fit the stuart gearbox and replaced he final drive with a belt pulley to transfer the power.

Dongskie, I certainly admire your ingenuity! And, indeed, the price of the STATIC Tamiya Sheridan is staggeringly high. Yours will be fine, indeed.

Yes indeed! But truth be known you won't go wrong with a Tamiya.
Thank you for the kind words! The gearbox and radio from the Stuart was a choice of either buying a Heng Long TK set, the price was almost similar so I decided to get the Stuart, and now I have a /116 scale model of the Stuart still in the box

.
Choosing the belt length was quite a challenge and fortunately enough they were very cheap that I had purchased several lengths to make sure I get the exact length. I also down-ratio the pulley size to slightly reduce the speed.
More pics to follow!

Here is a video of the running tracks, this was still using the HL gearbox.
The road wheels didn't have the rubber tires yet.

These are the individual tracks and I used large paperclips as pins to assemble them which required between 75-85 pieces per side

I found the 3D file of this ACAV cupola and shield in Cults3d.com and felt I have to have it on my Sheridan.
