I have a Torro M16 halftrack which I converted to an Elmod control board and it was a great conversion
But I was wondering if instead of removing the old analogue board I had kept in in place and simply removed the little "Tinny" speaker and replaced it with a Heng Long rectangular speaker,
Would the board have the power to drive the new speaker and would it have improved the sound quality ???

For an absolute answer I would suggest consulting with Thomas at El-Mod. The key thing is the impedance of the speaker that he designed it for vs the speaker that you want to use.

As a practical step, I can confirm that the orginal WSN speaker blows real fast when hooked up to the El-Mod, but I have not opened up my Torro's as yet to see if they have anything better inside.

I think you have misunderstood me, I have an Elmod board in my M16 and I did connect it too a Heng Long Rectangular speaker and it works just fine,

What I was wondering was what if instead of removing the old Torro analogue board I had kept it in place and just changed the original circular speaker and wired a Heng Long rectangular Speaker in its place.would the old board have been able to power the new speaker and would the quality of the sound be improved.
