Hi I am Peter, 73 years old been into tanks and RC for as long as I can remember but started model making since before my teens, I must have had tanks (Heng Long) for over 40 years, they spent some time in the loft but I have been drawn back into them over the last 10 years or so, I have around 20 or so now some are running and some are fixer uppers, I feel as though I am more into the painting and putting together now than I used to be, the latest addition though is a Hooben Hetzer, it arrived a few days ago but sadly its damaged and I am waiting with baited breath for the manufacturer to reply to my email but I have heard poor things about them but we live in hope.
Well Peterb1951, you're two years ahead of this youngster. With your experience, please do dive in with questions, advice, and fun. And, of course, we all enjoy photos--even if these are not a requirement. Welcome! 
I certainly do like that TD but am leary as all get out with that manufacturer. Hopefully it all works out for you.
