E100 - Henschel Turret - Own concept

I just want to show off one of my "heavy" builds. The planing on this tank started back in 2019. Since then this model was build with more a less bigger breaks.
The whole model is made from aluminum with nearly realistic thickness of the armor. The tracks are from attracks.

Last week the vehicle had it first drive test and performed well. I use Beier Electronics with an 11,1 Lipo and selfmade gearmotors (540 - Ratio 50:1). The weight of the tank is about 21 kg.
The tank itself is not finished yet. I´ve planed to add more details and an movable commander in the hatch in the turret.

Here are some pictures from our testing-area :)

Like it?...love it...

I'm assuming you used the Attracks sprockets. Any issues with them slipping on the shaft? I have a set of the E100 tracks and sprockets, but haven't been able to to fit them to my Krupp turreted E-100 yet.

Wow, that looks amazing! I'm looking at doing one myself someday as a pair with my Maus, albeit with a more historical design. Is that the Ludwig hull kit or is it fully custom?

Yeah, the sprockets were a problem. I drilled a hole in them and made an steel shaft with holes and fittet a smaller steel rod in there. After that i glued everything. I can remove my sprocket together with the steel shaft for maintaining.
Another problem were the track link-rods. I had to glue every link a few times till they stopped moving out of the tracklinks. The force in the wide track while driving curves is enormous.

Ludwig cutted the parts for my own hull. I made a custum design with some changes according to the hulls he sells. Also I managed to build the suspension neraly as on the real tank:

Now that is simply outstanding. Superb paint and spectacular weathering. Just fantastic.

Sigh: The Crow3333 shows up sporadically with yet another masterpiece, while I slog away at the simple stuff. Congratulations, TheCrow3333, on another triumph.
