My own experience with the Tamiya King Tiger Tracks is that they go brittle or less pliant with age, then you will find that eyes on the B link start to split.
I prefer metal tracks on my K/t's however these have have a habit of putting stress on the gearboxes, which can lead to stripped gears. This is very bad unless you have a knowledge of gears, access to a firm like HPC gears of Chesterfield and access to a lathe in which case some of the gears can be remade.
Metal tracks also cause the tank to Run " Duck footed" with the drive cogs spaying outwards, this can be corrected with home made gearbox braces.

In which case go and run it into ground have fun. All you have to look forward to is brittle tracks, a very dodgy idler system( which can be overcome). Turret rotation that jams or the clutch gears gives up and refused to work, Splaying gearboxes and a whole host of other gearbox problems.

However I like the Tamiya K/t I have owned 5 or 6, I still own 3. I have worn out several and scrapped them for spares or used them as donor tanks.
