Hey Gents,
Contrary to what some might be thinking, this is NOT the new DW SdKfz 250 release.
Before Das Werk announced its latest little gem, I had came upon this this 3D printed kit from Liam Models (from South Korea). And if I wasn't a glutton for punishment after my first endeavor into the world of 3D modeling, I decided to go for it. By the time the announcement was made, I had already expended an inordinate amount of time and effort into this one and decided to soldier on in hopes it was worth the effort. This beast is a completely different animal from my prior venture, almost like a 'real' kit you'd buy from a name manufacturer, very well thoughtout, highly refined with remarkable detail and a fit to match. Yes, it's a static model and most probably unadaptable to RC, it's still a great kit. The radio sets are part of the kit, but the accoutrements have been added from the Teilbehalter as are the other bits lying about the interior. There's considerable modeling license taken throughout, as will be evident, but in the end it's conceivable that something like this may have existed at some point in time. Here's where I am at the moment.
