I have recently purchased a Hen Long Sherman tank, however, I cannot get it to steer straight and have to hold that control stick at 1 o'clock. Can this be rectified?

A bunch of things to try:
1. Make sure the battery is fully charged. Erratic control is often low battery.
2. Haul out the manual and see if there's a trim slider beside the forward/reverse stick. As you drive forward you can use the trim to straighten out the drive.
3. Failing those two easy things, have a look at the tracks, drive sprocket and gearboxes to see if anything is binding a bit and slowing down one side of the drive and causing your tank to veer.

Hey, welcome from Ontario, Canada! I noticed your new to the forum? Where are you from (doesn't need to really specific), any experience in rc stuff or modelling, or other interests? We're a curious bunch, plus we can direct you to local suppliers so you can acquire tank bits and more tanks!

Mike.

Welcome to the forum Hawkeye. Try what Coleman Colletor suggests first,. If your tank is a new TK 7.0 then you can adjust the steering trim with the button combinations on the transmitter. Take out the nifty paper guide that lists all the adjustments and button combinations to tune your tank.

Here's video of Stanlley Tai sharing various functions on the TK7.0. Skip to 20:15 to where he shows how to adjust trim-

I see, Hawkeye, that you have already received great advice. That's one of the things many of us do here on RCTW. Perhaps soon you will be able to reciprocate. Enjoy!
