This early Tiger was my very first rc model I bought back in 2018.
It is a Taigen metal one, pretty heavy too and running with the old RX-18.
Maybe I will change the electronics in the future but nothing planned yet.
Enough other stuff with the TK-6.0-6.2 and 7.0 mainboards, to cruise around with at the moment.

Due to the cold and damp foggy weather it is not a good idea to spray my early StuG III outdoors, so I will start this paint project soon.
It is a set of 10 Fallschirmjäger in Winterclothing, and a 5 men tankcrew.
On both sides I had attached some tree trunks but they had to be taken off to make room for the sitting soldiers.

Maybe this Tiger looks familiar to some of you, by these older pics?

When you take a closer look at the figures, you may have noticed that they are almost all molded in one piece.
That could make the painting slightly more challenging.
Normally the heads and/or helmets are seperate and need to be glued on later.
On some of them I already glued on the arms, boots and so which will not affect the paintjob.
To be continued.
Rob.

I know you mentioned they are older pictures, but WOW! The Tigers, crew, storage and back ground is amazing. Two of the best pictures I've seen to make me question if that is full size or scale models!

I agree with Ecam. Outstanding weathering and detailing skills.

Those pics were taken back in 2018 too if I remember well :eh:
Was quite an adventure that Saturday morning :haha:
I woke up and noticed snow fell that night.
Perfect for a photoshoot with both my Ostfront Tigers, I thought.
So I had to hurry and grab my stuff, load it into the car and drove off to a farmland a few clicks from where I lived back than.
Snow hadn‘t been forecasted that night, so no charged batteries for both tanks!
But what I did grab, were a few plastic garbage bags to lay onto while taking the pics.
When I arrived in the countryside, snow was already melting again.
Hurry, hurry!
Taking pics in the snow needs some attention, compared to sunny Summer pics!
You must always be aware watching were you put your feet!
Ones a size 10 is in the snow, next to your Panzers, the pics are ruined!
That, and the already melting snow made it all a bit stressfull that early morning.
While laying there, on the plastic bags, in the snow, in a field, while people were passing with their dogs, I could read their minds……what a f*cker they must have thought, hahaha!
But I was glad I did bring the bags otherwise I would have been soaked by the melting snow.
By the time I got home again, most of the snow was already gone!
Each time I see those Winter pics from both my Tigers, it brings back a huge smile on my face, when I think of that Saturday morning!
Rob.

Those images are incredibly life like. Should maybe try a monochrome version.

Do not quite understand what you mean?
Who should try a monochrome version?
