Hi everyone, looked in forum but can't see item similar to this.
Pick up a 2nd hand heng long porsche turrent king. 2.4 gig built in 2017. A number of issues sorted. But remote is broken on movement side. Frozen on turning left or right. Like it has been supa glue. Forward/reverse good.
Question is. Replacement remote from Ali express is $30 Australian. Will the new remote bind with tank.
Cheers from Oz. Merry Xmas to all.

You could open the hand set up and check the potentiometers.
Might just be something spilled on it in the past.
Or if you can solder, just replace.

Im sure a new TX will bind and work just fine.

The binding of the remote control and the HL receiver is done by pressing one button... But it is easier and cheaper to actually look at the stick unit and fix a trivial problem...

Good morning,
like the previous messages, first of all, open the transmitter, after removing the batteries, and see what is stuck? is everything plastic? so there could be a stuck mechanism, a broken part? so before possible replacement, check this

If you do go the new Tx route, make sure to get the correct version for your Rx--5.3, 6, or 7. Not sure what would be in a 2017? Was 5.3 that long ago or had HL started on the 6.X stuff by then?
Mike.

Hi guys , thanks for advice. After pulling faulty remote apart and trying a fix. Had a brain wave( i am a dumb arse) swapped circuit board to a second remote. Bingo issues fixed. New to this, steep learning curve. Cheers for replying. Merry Xmas to all from ozstralia.
