Is there a dealer who sells Aerial Bases ?
I ask because when I was working on my Tongde Centurion I soon noticed the Aerial Bases on the Haya (There are 3 of them) were predrilled and came with Steel whip aerials the Tongde ones are solid and too small to pinvice a hole into.
So I need and I suggest others with the Tongde Cent need viable aerial bases,
It's ok if they are solid as long as they can be pin viced with a hole.

If you can find someone who is diabetic and uses insulin pens, the disposable plastic needle protectors are a short tube with a flange at one end and make perfect aerial mounts. Ive used them many times.

Do you mean this type, or is there another make closer in style?

Yes, thats the sort. The tube is ideal for giving the antenna a sound structural base and if a hole is drilled in the turret or deck for the tube diameter it can be inserted from beneath so that the flange secures it on place. Nothing too exciting but its simple and it works. However, l do NOT recommend developing diabetes in order to get a supply?!
