I post here some screen prints of my project work , starting from a mostly complete 3CD in STEP non running to a set of drawings in 2D for manufacturing for a running one so bearing , soft bearing , real shafts so something able to move on the ground .

I am in process to review each drawing to check cosmetic detail to be close as possible to areal one / acceptable model

Most difficult parts / costly parts will be the tracks

Drawings can be updated for ply wood model or any hybrid material as fiberglass / wood / steel but the design is done for 3 mm steel plate hull with thickness plate to display real thickness as original hull

I have not rebuilt a complete 3D CAD but the estimated weight is in the 300 kg / 375 kg , tracks weight is important weight can be saved by using aluminium tracks .

Design is done to be reliable I was a bit surprise by the cheap solutions as suspension arms / bearing .... used on the Russian produced Tiger 1 1/4 scale model

My goal is not to complete a full Tiger running as the project is too big to too long in time but if someone is interested I can send the complete set of drawings

I link some screen prints of the original 3D CAD step file , and some 2D CAD for manufacturing
