I tried (and failed somewhere) to build a P40 italian tank

Good afternoon lady and gents as you see my poor attempt to build a P40 tank.
you see I came apon building this as a "great Idea" because no one else had done it before and the tank seemed simple with hard angles and no curves, but then I messed up somewhere and now I give up.
I know this because I've compared my other tank (m26 Pershing) to my mock up model made of foam before I get to the real thing, and in comparsion it is tiny, so I know I lightly "screwed up."
Any who the reason I am telling you all this is because I want to try again but not "mess up" and I know that if you are reading this you can give me some pointers on how I "ruined" my chances of going of the kits and onto scratch.
Thank you for reading this, My name is Richie FL and I hope you have a good one.

I cannot figure out, RichieFL, if your screenshot shows a CAD drawing for a model made of plastic sheet or a 3D printed one. There are lost of experts (not I) here who should be able to help.

Picture working. Egads, that is a tiny tank! Are you planning to RC it or just a static model?

I think I just failed at scaleing somewhere because I checked a 1/1 scale online of both the P40 and the M26 next to one another, they should be simular height and width surprisingly.

Do you have plans in a specific scale? We can help with the math to get it to what ever scale (ie. 1/16) you with to build. I don't know the P40 (except the flying one built by Curtis)...

So this is an stl file that you have imported? Can you show the steps you did to get there, as there are different ways of doing this and not all work the same way...

I do have a specific scale in mind! 1/16 like the M26
Also if you need some "blue prints" (I did the mesurements on the 3d model then wrote it down) to do some of the math I can forward it to you

the way that I did it to make this was
1. get a model from $
2. find a software to see the model in 3d (in my case Fusion 360)
3. port it to the software
4. success!
if you need more specifics I am sorry I may have lost how I did it
