Hi, today i'm going to introduce you my oldie Walker Buldog.
Thing about it: it is from Heng Long, my father bought it in 2008 (if i remember well), but in 2010 the battery was dead so we put it in his box and stored in a closet. The turret doesn't rotate 360º, it has a mechanical stop, I have not disassembled it but I will look at it, the batery cover is missing in action, and the batery itself is dead, the commander and some of the accesories are lost too.

So, things to do:
- A new batery (First thing to do) Lipo? Standard ones?
- Get a battery cover
- Change the conectors for some XT60
- Testing
- Buy a commander and some accesories
- PAINTING IT IN ITS CORRECT COLOUR (and some weathering) with reference photos
- Adding Stowage
- Metal tracks and metal drive components (i suppouse that the model is similar to the modern ones, it is correct?)

"A new battery (First thing to do) Lipo? Standard ones?"
So much depends on what kind of battery charger you have and how much you want to run the tank. LiPo and Lithium Ion will be lighter and run longer, but are more complicated to charge. If you don't plan to run much, NiMH will be a tad safer to charge; its weight will not likely be any problem, as weight in a tank is---well---not usually a problem.
"Change the connectors for some XT60"
If you go to LiPO or Lithium Ion, fine; if you stick to NiMH, I wouldn't bother.
"Metal tracks and metal drive components (i suppose that the model is similar to the modern ones, it is correct?)""
Modern HengLong components will likely swap out readily. But if you switch out tracks and transmission, it will be worth going for a HengLong 6.0 or 7.0 MFU and transmitter.

Wow, that is an old one. I converted my Bulldog in to something fun...a T49 prototype.

The idea is run the tank as long as possible, i have lipo balancers so i guess that part is not a problem at all, but: would be necessary to make some modifications for use LiPos?

I don't really know, i didn't have the oportunity to compare it with modern ones, but i will try them for sure

I will take this advice and look for information about it, thank you so much!

3D printed the Sheridan turret and adapted it to the Heng Long turret ring using screws and hex standoffs. The Sheridan files in 1/16 are free on Cults3D:
