HengLong Sherman 105mm to 75mm gun

I couldn't find a builder that did this, but i'm hoping someone can give me some advice on this:

So i'm planning to modify my HengLong Sherman's gun, from the default 105mm gun to a BB-firing barrel-recoil (perhaps eaven with led) 75mm gun.
For this i bought:

HengLong long barrel gun unit with recoil, BB and(or) light-effect
a MATO 75mm metal barrel (with no BB function) For scale mostly
a MATO m34a1 metal mantlet.

First challenge will be fitting the MATO mantlet onto the HengLong gun kit.
Second challenge will be the barrel, a 6mm BB might just be too big to travel through the MATO 75mm barrel, i might be able to drill the hole slightly bigger but i will lose losing the rifling in the process, the other option will be shortening the HengLong long barrel and perhaps sanding it down so the barrel is more tapered.

Once i see what kind of lightning-effect is supplied the the HengLong gun kit, i will have to see if i can intergrate it somehow to make a BB firing barrel with light effect.

Thx for reading,

Kind regards Casper

How are you going to have a BB barrel and an LED inside?

Making a groove on the outside of the barrel for the cable and having a small enough led

Completely agree with Kaczor....
8O Make a groove?? and a fairly small LED? to accommodate her or? in the barrel it's ball or flash shooting? moreover by changing the barrel, are you sure that it will be adapted to shooting balls? not convinced? original a very specific diameter, :O afterwards if you are sure that it can be done? why not ?

The light will work but the BBs may jam.

If the thickness of the barrel”skin” isnt thick enough near the tip than its a no-go anyways.
Perhaps a perspex barrel as actual barrel might have room near the base for lights though.

Okay something to consider… 6mm barrel for BB’s scale 1/16, means 96mm reallife.
So it wont be scale accurate for one…
Even worse Heng Longs bb firing unit uses a small short barrel, and the actual barrel slides over it so HengLong barrels actually have an internal diameter of 7mm (aka 117mm)

Here is an example of a scale 50mm vs the HL barrel for a PZIII

Still want a 75mm "look" so probaly im just gonna saw the long HengLong barrel to the right lenght (Using the mato 75mm as reference) and than tapering it and see how that looks.
Adding lightning is probably just not worth the effort, thats too bad because i really had some nice ideas but now its clear its never gonna scale or isnt gonna fire BB's
