The UK Tank Club is 10 years old in 2010,on the weekend 5th and 6th of June 2010, we will be holding the UK Tank Club 10th Anniversary BBQ at the Mucklebugh Collection, we would like to invite you as a like minded club to join us in our celebration.
For location information and a brief look at the museum check out the link http://www.muckleburgh.co.uk/home.htm
Now the dates are the 5th & 6th of June, but you can turn up days before and leave days afterwards if you wish, the museum is more than happy with that.
Skippy is already on the ball and organising the parking, and site layout, as with the potential numbers we can't just have people pitching up willy nilly
On our weekend you will have:-
Daytime access to the museum
Evening time access to the restoration yard (please be aware they run a common sense H&S policy, you climb up and fall off, tough)
Camping available, for tents, caravans & mobile homes (there is a limited electrical hook up, which we at moment will be dedicated to the gazeboo (charging, kettle etc...)
Water, there are 2 taps in the field with drinking water
Toilets, there is one in the restoration yard (very basic) and the club will be hiring a couple of portaloo's.
Plans for the weekend, so far:-
Competitions (details to be posted later)
Filming, (your chance to get your tank on the club DVD)
Talking, always lots of talking.
Possibly some drinking.
I shall update as I get more information and more set in stone etc...
I've spoken to Pete, 971wright and asked him to act as liason, as I will have enough on planning the rest of the event, but if you do have any questions then please ask and I'll try and answer.
