We had this Centurion and Chieftain at the Rossendale Club this week - we hope to get a picture of these with the clubs Challenger 11 tanks in the near future.

We will have another Chieftain and my new HAYA Centurion Mk3 joining the modern British Tank line-up sometime in the very near future - and my Chieftain Mk3 shown here needs a lot more work to make a better barrel lagging and much improved weathering as I (slowly) learn new (weathering) skills that work well on 1/16 scale tanks.....as well as adding the proper Leyland multi-fuel engine sound and binding it to a tx that I prefer to the"standard issue" type.

I was curious about your club, so I tried to find it online. Is this the same Rossendale club where there are 1/14 trucks, boats, etc.?

We are a very small local club in a small Lancashire town and we have no online site.

The club runs every Tuesday and Thursday evenings with an airgun range downstairs for serious (and not so serious) 10 meter air pistol and air rifle shooting, and a hall above it that is used for r/c helicopter flying on the Tuesday evening and r/c trucks and tanks on a Thursday evening.

We don't have any boats in this club - but I am a member of the Southport Model Boat Club and I get across to their club lake whenever I can.

"I am a member of the Southport Model Boat Club and I get across to their club lake whenever I can." Hmm... that might be fun for a Schwimmwagen, or a "Seep," an LCM, or one of the Vietnam-era river boats. I am glad you have other RC tankers, etc., nearby.
