We are starting another group build project! This time we have more categories:
[1945] - all armored vehicles at the end of the war, from all countries and fronts.
[Paper panzers] - prototypes, what-ifs, vehicles that didn't leave the drawing board, also all nations
[Desert] - all vehicles fighting in the desert, all countries and eras
[Support] - vehicles necessary for war that are not tanks or artillery - trucks, ambulances, even landing craft and gliders, all countries and eras
We invite everyone to start threads in this section with the appropriate prefix. This time there will be more time. You have one year to complete the construction, until June 30, 2025.
We will move the topics from the last group build to the appropriate sections (we will leave "shadow links").

OOOH! I have TWO Taigen Pzkw. IV for DAK. It's time to dig 'em out and do some research. I'd like to build two from the same unit if possible. Any advice will be appreciated. (My budget will be limited because my car is showing signs of age. Today at the gas station, when I pulled out the pump nozzle after filling the fuel tank, part of the filler neck from my car came out with it.

I just shoved it back in and laughed all the way home.

If you're on a budget, focus on painting and weathering

That's my plan, Kaczor. After I get the static FAMO to the point that I will put it on a shelf, my first task will be to assemble the books I have on the PzKw IV and the DAK. I have been wanting to do these two Pzkw IV for years.

Thank you for organising this. I’m in. I may be asking for help with some 3d printing. Desert, Afghanistan. I’m off to do some research and buy a model for dimensions.

Moisture assistance! That's the awesome spell correct for my original "Moi aussi!" response!
I'll be working on a T-72 in Indian Army livery--that crazy pointillist-digitaliast (word patent pending) scheme. Should be fun!
Mike.

I kind of went rather fast with my winter build by finishing my JT before the end of August. Do I get to do a second build? Also when you finish a build do you post it on the Show Off thread or is that automatic? I have a Panther G early May 1945 project ready to start as soon as Canada Post ends their strike

You can make as many projects as you want.
"Show Off" threads are created in the usual way, by the model author.
