Hi, gents. I've been a RC nut for a long time. Got 21st Century's 1/6 Stuart back in the day.
I mounted a miniature camera on the turret roof transmitting to a small TV & would chase the dogs around the yard. Great fun!
The bugger stopped working a few years ago & has sat since as a model in my War Room, but yesterday I pick up another for a steal price & hope to get back in the game.
My main concern is where do I acquire a new battery?? THEN.....I shall attempt upgrades.
Great group here!!
Thanks!

Hello and welcome from the West Coast of Scotland. Your question about batteries may best be posted in the electronics section. We look forward to pictures and the resurrection of your Stuart.

Welcome! You have in mind a great project, and I will be eager to see you post photos of the progress. I never had the 1/6 Stuart, so I am dancing with joy over the 1/16 version just out. I have been making shameless plugs for Bob Steinbrunn's book for some time now. I am surprised to see that it's still available. But Bob completely redid it as a static model.

IMHO, razor saw. It's more precise with less cleanup. But it's slower and takes more elbow grease.

I just got an oscillating multi-tool to play with. I was going to use it on some skirts. Well I bought it originally to install an in-wall medicine cabinet in the bathroom, but I've heard of folks using it for cutting plastic. John from East Coast Armory uses one all the time.
