Hi
I’m William and live in NSW, Australia. I’ve been fascinated by tanks for years and have recently become interested in 1/16. I started with the ubiquitous Heng Long Sherman and I’m now looking to expand my collection. One of my main goals in joining the site is to improve my modelling skills especially weathering paint schemes.

Welcome from the Netherlands!

You've come to the right place if you want to learn about weathering. I've only joined a few days ago and have already seen some amazing work around here :)

:haha: "ubiquitous" Whoa Ho! The fellow knows how to use my favorite stuffy word! Hello there, you upside down, over-educated fellow. You are most welcome, and we will see what we can do to answer questions and get you addicted. Do you have any RC and/or static 1/16 AFVs--yet? @)

Welcome aboard William! I've been working on models for decades, but one thing I find about 1/16th and better still armor (not Ferraris) is the flexibility you have between showroom (depot) fresh and battle wrecks. Tons of info on the forum and still more help to be had.

Welcome from Ontario, Canada!
Hmmmmm, what's a good Sherman addition? Some here will say the other 39 versions of a Sherman, and others might say something like a Stug III for a traditional foe. So many choices!

Mike.
