hi guys , just started on my pershing , i opened the box ,slid out a brand new pershing fitted a battery and gave it a spin [ trundle ] around the kitchen just to wind the dog up ,er no  to see if it was all ok  [ which it was ] and then  one hour later  OH DEAR , my nice new tank !!!!!!!

then it was time to get rid of all the mold marks and flash off the  plastic bits,   im going to base it on a ww2 pershing , as the h/l pershing is a korean version there are a few corrections to be made. firstly i got rid of the phonebox on the rear , , then theres the matter of the rotoclone blower, the h/l is made with the 1000cm unit , but ww2 pershings had the 400 blower, step one was to fill the rear two holes then file the housing down and make it more rounded

as this build will be getting elmod prop the h/l anttenea colud go just leaving the hole to be filled and rounded off, there was alot of filling needed on the body , owing to the h/l glue monkey using all thier glue stock just to secure all the boxs helmets and c rat cartons

started on the turret tonight , on the commanders cupola the  periscope holes are molded on,  so  ive just started to open them up ,in order to fit windows made out of perspex

that would be most helpfull, was going for the sewing thread saw trick, drill out the hatch hinges fit plastic /BRASS rod  approach ?

yep thats the way but i didnt drill the hinges i cleaned off the hinge and fitted styrene rod of a similar diameter and installed an old rivet tail as the bar
