I was curious about the "Ben Nevis" appellation, so Dr. Google helped me quickly. It looks as if we can honor the Scots 3rd Scots Guards, 6th Guards Tank Brigade, adjutant's tank.

Hello,
the first thing I changed on the Tongde Churchill:
I replaced the ugly Phillips screws from the track tensioner

I'm liking the kettle! It's the bare necessities, as Baloo would say.

Oh, that is a tea kettle! I saw it yesterday, but could not figure out exactly what it is. Egad: it should have been obvious to me. John, do you happen to know exactly what hex-head bolt size you used on the track adjusters. Being in the U.S., I always hoard metric nuts, bolts and more when I can get the goodies, so I might just have the size need to make that quick aesthetic fix, too.

I use this one:

But, if you really want to do it right, you need a square-head screw:

but then you have to make this screw yourself.

Thank you! If the head were larger, patient work with a file could create a square headed bolt. New square headed bolts have been made in larger “English” sizes by resourceful folks who restore real pre-WWII farm machinery.
