Scalawag

Post by Ad Lav »

It is with a very sad and heavy heart that I must inform you that Scalawag took his own life on 11th April 2024.

He was a very good friend of mine and a lot on the forum will remember him and his work with rc tanks.

RIP Paul

So incredibly sad that this happens when it's sometimes a temporary problem.

Oh wow, that's terrible news.

Was he married? Did he have any sons and/or daughter's?

My condolences. Mental illness is often invisible to everyone around it, but so real for those struggling with it.
Sad news...

No living next of kin. A very sad day.

Two of us have been named to deal with his affairs.

Jesus, I perfectly remember changing emails with him 10 years ago. He was teaching me how to do something with open source radio software.

I can't thank him enough for his critic guidance at my early steps in the hobby.

Life sucks.
