Re: Scalawag
Ad Lav, I know the sadness at such a loss, but I know of no magic words to make it all better. It is but a small comfort now that you can honor your friend by taking care of his things.

Re: Scalawag
A sad day when a friend or relative hits an invisible wall and just cannot go on,
For those left behind there is pain and loss and the question could I have done more?
The only consolation and it really is not much is that the pain over time dulls and the good memories come to the fore.
RIP.

I think I am about to upset someone

Thank you all for your kind words.
It’s still very fresh at the moment and taking its toll on his close friends.
You are right, there was nothing we could have done to change his mind, he was happy knowing he wouldn’t be in distress over things that got to him.

Good Afternoon,
Scalawag was a friend on the Forum for years and some of his Builds should still be in the Sub Forum listings. A Knowledgeable Fellow whose exit from our Company here, I still bitterly regret. God Speed, my Friend.

Sorry. I didn’t know Scalawg, but he was obviously liked and respected. Sorry for the loss to the community.

That's a really big shock, Adam!. He was a rather special model-maker, and a unique presence here for many years. What a terrible blow. This is the very first entry I've read here, since Hogmanay, and it couldn't be a more depressing one.Albert Camus, the French novelist and thinker, once suggested that if you're thinking of ending your life, you must wait until you're happy again- and then do it. He had a point. Very sad.
