Last night, I found out Mr Mithras has a beer named after him. And a fine drop it was too.
Full bodied, rich, with spices and a light roast after taste.

Wasn't ever really a Porter fan... But definitely fun useless information for sure. Cheers

What a brilliant description meter rat.

It reminded me of the amusing descriptive wine tasting notes that Oz Clarke used to give on various tv programs over the years.

Robert Owen Clark OBE was born in 1949 and so he is a fellow 49’r like myself.

I will most certainly give that brew a taste if I should ever see it in a pub (or bottle) anywhere on my travels.

Bob.
