HL Sherman aerial / antenna position

As best as I understand, in WWII the Shermans and many other US vehicles used a 9 foot antenna on an MB-48 mast. (I have one on order for my T26E3 Pershing.) If you are in the mood to spend a bit of dough, check for an M48 antenna mount that looks like this.

Probably not going to purchase this item.

Just moved 3 antennas. Now I'm removing the metal stumps that don't belong.
