So a recap of the tanks I've refinished, worked on and customized since I joined this forum last January 2023 and my new hobby took off.

As always questions and comments welcome.

Heng Long KV1, all plastic except for steel gears. I repainted her with Tamiya TS5 olive Drab then used Tamiya XF2 and hairspray chipped the whitewash camouflage.

Heng Long Jagdpanther, Pro with plastic wheels. Painted with Tamiya TS3 and TS2. Started to learn different weathering techniques and products. I made the Schurzen myself because I couldn't stomach paying between $30-$50 for a kit.

Heng Long Panther G, Pro,all metal running gear. I painted her with Tamiya TS1, 2 & 3. This is the first tank I used Jnewboys Magic Grime on. This is the first tank that I used historical pictures as guide and inspiration.

Heng Long T34/85, Pro, this tank I had previously weathered the stock paint job heavily. I used it as a mule to practice with Ammo/Mig washable white camouflage paint. My intention was to make it look hand applied by the crew and worn off.

Heng Long Tiger I Promotional, steel gears, metal sprockets and idlers. plastic wheels and tracks. I painted the camouflage with Tamiya TS4 German Grey and TS3 Dark Yellow. I used Ammo/Mig washable white camouflage. My intention after looking at historical pictures was to have faded white camouflage because the whole tank had been spray painted white by service crew and not hand applied in the field. I felt it would fade differently. This one has the most weathering I have done yet. I minimized pigment usage and stuck to paint effects.

And now on to the next one. I've got Tigers on the brain :D

This guy was a loaded deal I couldn't pass up.

Was this list in order of building them? If so, scratch building on the 2nd tank!?! Nice work, great selections, but where is your Sherman?

Thank you guys. Yes they are in chronological order. Yep pretty much dove in and have been learning and practicing since.

I had seen David N's posts on the Squawk of his Jagdpanther's with skirts that he had purchased and some that he had copied and fabbed. He shared measurements and advice. With maybe $12 invested I went to work. I have since learned more and would do them slightly differently.

As the Capricorns say, "Goat in Himmel!" You have accomplished more in one year that I have in fifteen or more. I am most impressed and have enjoyed your sense of humor and RC modeling successes throughout 2023.

Smart work. The white wash is very impressive!

Yet to try the hair spray technique.

As others have said, you’ve been a busy bee. The quality and skill you are showing in your work has definitely improved. Just need to ween you off Tigers, and onto modern stuff.

That's some excellent paint and weathering work. I've yet to paint any of my tanks but will soon, this give me hope.
