 Woo Hoo! I'll be watching. I am curious, and perhaps others will want to know. What 3D print material, color, and/or paint do you use to create the appearance of metal? (Or is my eyesight that bad?)

In this case… metal is… metal! The other parts are made in Sls nylon. With this tank the worst part to made is the suspensions system because there aren’t enough info or pictures about that. There are only few technical drawings and no pics.

That looks very nice! Will be following with interest.

A Czech friend who has an impressive of 3DP models on Cults will release his 1/10 scale Char B1 Bis this year so it's nice to see more obscure subjects like this become available to the general public.

When you consider that the Char B was the best Tank by a mile in the French Army and went on to become the mainstay of the German occupying army it really is a surprise that there has never been a 1/16 rc model from a major maker,
I look foreward to this build,
I do agree with Herman just as the Centurion has proven a great success so should the Char B.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Perhaps Tongde will use someone else's STL files to make one like they've been doing with other recent releases.

That said, highly doubtful a Char B Bis is on their or other Chinese makers horizon.

The B1 will follow several other releases he's currently working later this year.

His main interests lean towards French & Soviet subjects & you can find his existing work on Cults:

Am currently printing the BRDM-2 while assembling the BT-7. 8)
