It certainly is a funny thing and fairly complex to build. I did one in 2019 as a 3d print and build
viewtopic.php?t=28362&hilit=matilda
Anyone with a 3d printer and patience can build one so pm me if interested.

Sooo tempting! Just bookmarked that link...
Alwyn, I remember that build, it was the first time I wanted to build a English built tank (not counting the British rearmed VC). Was a spectacular build and fun to watch!

Ohhhh this one is screaming for your magic Ecam.
I can't wait to see what obscure farm tool or junk yard accessory you'd re-purpose and form into mechanical art.

The r&d in Alwyn's build is crazy! Between spring experiments and gearbox evolution, my new mantra when a part won't fit that's supposed to, will be, "What would Alwyn do?"
Dang, what a build adventure!
Mike.

Thanks for the good words guys. The most enjoyable part of the build was the constant need to experiment, improvise, and innovate, and then the end result coming together. If it was easy then it wouldn't be a challenge so not fun. I also wanted to make something that others could have and enjoy that wasn't available from the commercial sector.
