TORRO M16 Halftrack

This section is for builds that are not strictly Tamiya or Heng Long. For instance, replacing the electronics from a WSN or Matorro, or even a scratch-build.

Got a little more done on it today. I thought it would be quite good.

One of the challenges I found was trying to get hold of an accurate picture of the radio fascia. Rare as unicorn droppings,
I do like your work nice detailing,
Have you viewed the U-Tube Torro Halftrack build ? I found it most helpful.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

I don't know if it's one of the videos I've seen, do you have a link?

RKRC: what did you use for the straps holding the packs? I am about to start adding stowage to two U.S. AFVs.

It is fabric ribbon from the local sewing shop which I paint in the color I want.

Nice work on the halftrack, if you're looking for a figure to man the quad .50 I found that a 1/18 scale '21st century soldier' fits the bill, albeit with a few bits removed to help with the positioning
Cheers,Lee.

Uhhh, I'll have to look for that, because yes, there's a figure missing in there.
Yours has also turned out really nice.
