I have a Taigen Sherman 76mm bb version. Can I just plug and play all the IR stuff from their online E store and turn the tank into an IR model? I have been into the turret as the barrel track that runs it up and down came unglued from the motor housing in shipping. I fixed that no problem. Looks mostly plug and play but this is all new territory for me. My next Sherman will be just IR. Thanks in advance. Mike

Taigen doesn't normally have a BB+IR option (like some HLs) but it can probably be done

I dont want both, I want to remove the BB option and make the tank IR only. I know both can be done or have been told its possible to have both in the Taigen's

This means replacing the internal elements of the turret. Changinig the recoil and elevation mechanism. Replacement of the gun (because the BB gun does not fit the mentioned mechanism)

Awsome. I could just replace the whole turret, but the 76mm is out of stock and I would rather not try to match the tanks colors or repaint the whole body. Those links are awsome, I can deal with painting the barrel and getting it close hopefully. Thank you. Those should be a sticky for those with Taigan/Torro tanks that want to run IR and have it work with HL and Tamiya systems.
