Hello there Members of RcTanKWarfare Forum,

I cannot apologise more for the recent downtime that has occured, Not even the host knows what went wrong. Some of you in various countries may have still been able to acess the site, but for the majority, you will have expereinced a 404 error website not found.

The site is back now, but not for long im afraid. However this is also a good thing, and in 24 hours from when i write this (perhaps a bit less) the website is being moved to the hosts newest server, which hopefull will have less bugs, less 'targeted' by spammers (as every server in the world is) and so safer overall. The bad news is this move may take up to 24 hours, but keep checking the site for when its up and online!

Hi Matt Glad its back on line needed a fix ,thanks for the warning about the next upgrade hope all goes well ,as for the downtime could it have been a time bomb from the hackers which caused it ,everything looks and works O.K. till you reach a certain time and date,then all hell breaks lose.

Same here, 2 days and no gossip about RC tanks   Good thing we got Matt on the case

Glad to hear about the upgrade Matt, should make everything more stable hopefully. It was weird not having my daily check on here.

Nice to see you have been able to restore the site and my best wishes to you (and any other behind the scenes elves) for the pending changeover.

I don't think you really needed to apologize so much for the probable actions of the many twits out there that enjoy buggering other peoples lives.

when the time comes for the switch to the new server are the members of the site going to be forwarned in advance of the date for the change
