Any CVR(t) experts out there?

I need a little help...

(no, not that kind of help Mick...)

I have Spyker Workshop's Scorpion/Scimitar files, and a Gecko 1/35 Scimitar Mk2 model that I am trying to use as a reference to make a 1/16 version using Spykers running gear.

Does anyone have access to a CVR(t) who can confirm some dimensions for me? The upper glacis of the Spyker Scorpion/Scimitar is so close to that of the upscaled Gecko kit that I think they could be common (at least in the size of the plate, I know the grill layouts are different), but the width doesn't quite work out right. I'm not sure if both of them are right and the vehicles are 'same but different', or one of them is wrong - in which case who? Did Gecko have access to the BAe drawings when they made their kit , or did both of them just take photo's and extrapolate?

Probably a long shot I know, and I can bodge it if need be, but my inner CAD profesional would prefer to get it right(er)

Probably easiest to do with a skype if he's up for it, but at a basic level:

Or if he has a gun tank then just the width of top and bottom of the upper glacis plate will allow me to scale the Spyker kit
