New to the hobby. Recently received a Heng long panzerIII and I'm hooked. Mainly interested in detailing with some modifications. I plan on getting a Stug III next and this forum seems to be an excellent place for ideas and help.
Thanks .

Oh, yeah: you are on your way to joyful poverty! Remember, given the choice between another RC tank and underwear, the latter is superfluous. What modifications are you thinking about for your PzKfw III? Whereabouts in the world are you? Are you old like most of us?

Lol, 58, I think I'm an old fart. New Hampshire USA which is part of a region called New England. As far as the panzerIII I've painted and weathered. Researched the 4th Panzer division and numbered it accordingly with the 4th's insignia but I think that's about it for that one. I might get a bit more ambitious with the Stug, fabrication of parts that don't come with Heng Long kits. Depends on what I find in my research.

Great looking PzIII. Under our builds and mods section you'll find many examples of that tank and many others. Heng Long section will have most, but don't miss the Tamiya, Other and Group builds. Each have great builds. I just finally started my own Panzer 3 a tank I have had for 10 years but only just now getting around to working on it. Not sure where it is headed yet...
In fact it is kind of a brothers' build as it spent some time in Hawaii getting suspension and an adjustable idler by Sassgrunt.

Welcome from the West Coast of Scotland. Us youngsters must stick together. Me being a mere 2 months off my 60th. And still behaving like a 25 year old. The hangovers just take longer to recover from. The Pz 111 looks great.
