I am a professional ship modeler...
And I can give you some advice on tuning the model....
You need specific questions and, most importantly, the ability to work with your hands or some money to buy the appropriate ingredients....

Nice Enterprise. I got to do some work on the real ship when I was stationed at Fort Meade, MD. We had to drive down to Norfolk, VA to install an encrypted ship to ship communications system on her. She was in port to have the flight decks resurfaced. I had to climb one of the masts to mount an antenna. It was a LOOOONG way down to the water... :)

My brother was serving on the Midway in the early 70s. We were down at Pearl Harbor to greet him as the ship came in. The Big E CVN-65 (1972-73) was across the harbor when the Midway sailed between the Enterprise and the dock we were standing at. We never lost sight of the Enterprise while the Midway passed!

And I think it fair that I should add; Sassgrunt was in the USMC not the Navy. As dad told the story Mike told the recruiter "anything but on the water", the recruiter smiled and said "sign here".

It's probably not as critical on a model, but on RHIBs if you get it wrong the props can just spin in a cavitation bubble until they break - forward motion isn't included! I don't know the design rules, but have colleagues who spend an awful lot of time (computer) modelling these things!
Thank you kindly! I’ll keep that very much in mind.

You will laugh, but I also served on a ship and was a classified communications operator......

Thank you Pavel; I’ll share when I’ve acquired an appropriate kit.

Pavel and Mithras: From '80 to '84, I lived at 315 W. 9th in downtown Long Beach (disputed territory between "Downtown Stoners" and "West Side Longo" 8O ). Some evenings I would walk to the beach and see the BIG E offshore. It was impressive even from a distance.
