Stunning builds John. Really top notch work. Even though I'm not a Sherman fan, I really like your M50.

Great work John!

I have a Tamiya M51 and a Sho’t kal. Great tanks and subject.

Love the Merkava, and the Magach. I can appreciate the work on the Sherman, but like Mr C I don’t think I want one. I said that about a Tiger. So never say never.

Meter Rat, don’t worry about a Sherman; do a Firefly. We ‘Murricans tolerate that UK indulgence.
JohnWhyte, exactly what brand and IDF color paint did you use on your Merkava? I think it should be the IDF ‘87 tan gray, but I am making sure. At the extreme minimum, I will want to paint the defensive dangles, but likely so much more.

It's the Hataka '87 sinai grey that I used for it

Thank you, JohnWhyte: the Hataka paints are not so readily available here in the US, but I have dug up what Vallejo claims in '87 Sinai Grey. I will see what I can find online for Hataka paints, an easy-breezy search.

Thank you, JohnWhyte: the Hataka paints are not so readily available here in the US as other brands, but an easy-breezy search turned up some sources. I will have to think it over before diving into yet another brand of paints (I already use five or six).
