I'm sure you will be getting members a bit like myself given the season. :)
I'm Russ ( 58 ) an electronic engineer from Southampton in the UK.
Ive recently got a 3d printer ( a creality K1 ) and have started on https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various ... k-rc-model
( Wish me luck )
I hope you will treat me kindly when I ask stupid or obvious questions, and I hope I can help with electronic and arduino questions.

Welcome to the forum Ruzzz. I know absolutely nothing about these magical, mythical things called 3D printers.

But there are knowledgeable helpful members here.

Best luck

Hello and welcome from the West Coast of Scotland. Electronics, witchcraft. 3D printers, witchcraft. You cannot ast the stupid or obvious questions. That is my domain. So but off.

Welcome from Ontario, Canada! New 3D printer guy here, too. I have a couple of good prints under my belt, and today's refused to cooperate. The learning, fun, and dumb questions begins!

Mike.

Greeting, Ruzzz, from across the puddle in Wisconsin, US. There are all kinds of 3d Wizards here on RCTW--not me, alas. And when it comes to "stupid or obvious questions," well, these folks have been kind and patient with me for years. Dive in!

Hey, I used to ask dumb stupid questions, now I help run the place :D

Anyway, welcome to the forum Ruzz
And no, you're not a typical new member type at this time of the year, the usual type have just purchased a new tank with problems, ask a few questions, get answers, rarely say thanks and are never seen again.
It's almost like Mr Creosote has eaten them alive, just don't give him a wafer thin mint to find out
