Yes cos it's only an hour till my dinner time :'(
I'd sooner have the salmon without the LAX, although, the chewy bits of rubber in garlic butter they call snails would work well as the LAX lol.

Only messing with you. I've always preferred my salmon as is, rather than with extra favouring on it, if I wanted salty, I'd eat raw oysters. As for snails, I've eaten many many strange and wonderful things, I just found snails a big disappointment, just like I did with haggis.

I'd certainly scoff down the other two with max enjoyment (drools at the thought)

Now you're talking :D
I used to work a Saturday job while at school on a wet fish stall in one of the first supermarkets in England.
I loved all kinds of fish and seafood, and used to ask various customers how they cooked theirs, I learnt quite a few different recipes back then.

It never ceases to amaze me how tv chefs are forever coming up with recipes that overpower more delicate flavoured fish. I guess they have to keep coming up with different ways to use too much salt to stay relevant.

Stand back,
I agree completely Salmon is full of flavour and needs nothing to enhance it although a dab of Hellemans and black pepper wont harm it.

How to start a war with the French and the Scots.

It all looks gorgeous Mr Chef. Very glad there are no parsnips in sight. The devils food they are.

And then you go blasting our parsnips lol.
To be fair, I did find peace pudding and tripe even worse lol.
I wouldn't give tripe to my dogs lol.

Now you’re starting a North/South war.

Pease Pudding, and tripe and onions. Simple food of the gods, and happy childhood memories.

Jellied eels and pickled eggs are probably the worst food ever.

It always puzzled me why the Scots carved turnips at Halloween, and why supermarkets wrap them plastic. Dam things can take out a T90 at 600m.

Mmm, jellied or stewed eels, oh yummy, but you can keep the pickled eggs.
