Any way to upgrade the machine gun at the commanders hatch?

The one they give is really cheap lookin.

Any help would be appreciated or a link to a site.

Typically the hull ball mount MG34 doubled as the cupola MG34 switching places depending on need although there were some exceptions subject to availability and stowage space.

I think the MG that comes with HL/Taigen/Torro are all incorrect MG42's and the hull MGs are all incorrect standard infantry variants of the MG34.

The one labelled MG-34 (modified) is the standard tank variant with the heavy barrel that would typically be used for the cupola too so that is the one to look for, there are quite a few nice options out there in both plastic and metal.

Have a look at Battle ground models .They sell a MG34 [with armored barrel]which is correct and cupola ring mount. Even the expensive Axle model nickel silver MG34 is not correct as its not a armored barrel type. Hope this may be helpful. Regards John.

ABER sell a PE Set for a Conversion of an Infantry MG34 to an Armoured Barrel MG34, Basicily you saw off the old Barrel and superglue on a new Armoured Barrel.
