Hi All,

New to RC tanks, been in the RC world for a lot of years, airplanes and cars. I love tanks, built lots of static tanks/displays. I'm looking to start making them mobile.
I've watched a lot of Youtube and read a lot. I really appreciate forums like this.

 Hi ho, thammer65! Welcome: do you have an RC model in mind? We can drive you nuts with advice and good cheer. I’d be curious about you static modeling, too. The US IPMA nationals are quite close by me in 2024.

Hi, Welcome to the Forum
If you intend to r/c one of your static models you must be prepared to sacrifice most of the internal detail as well as the running gear ----Tracks,Wheels, rollers, suspension and when you have finished your tank will be far more frail than the 1/16 r/c Tanks that we more commonly use.
