Post by Mithras »

Lots of combat clubs in the US are 1/6 scale. Is there anybody doing it in Britain?

Yes. Also Armortek, a 1/6 model manufacturer is located in UK.

I'm not sure where you are getting this info? I know of only one 1/6th scale combat club and it's on the east coast and it's for shooting paintballs at tanks. Did you mean 1/16? 1/6th isn't really popular in the US at all.

The only active clubs I’ve found are 1/6th. I likely missed severall:)

I guess I'd have to see the names of these groups and the locations. I've been volunteering working real tanks and doing RC tanks since like 2005 and I'm drawing a blank as to what these clubs are you are speaking of. I'm building a 1/6th scale KV-1 (and maybe a Cromwell) so I'd actually be interested in them.
