Most Iconic Movie Car you'd want to own?
Most Iconic Movie Car you'd want to own?
Just add your pic for an Iconic Movie Car that you'd want to actually own. I have several but this ones I think my top choice:
"Charlie don't surf"- Lt. Col. Bill Kilgore
Re: Most Iconic Movie Car you'd want to own?
Hmm... I've wanted a Delorean for a long time, but I'd actually prefer (yes, this is pure heresy) one of the examples in need of a paint job. Tardis Blue, appropriate decals, bam. My own version of a time machine. Ecto-1 or Ecto-2 would also be fun to own; might be fun to drive. Have a particular taste for weird/"ugly" cars, so an AMC Pacer would be up there (Waynes World was my first exposure.) Top of the list is a Ford Falcon XB (the Interceptors, both the V8 and the standard yellow models, in the Mad Max Movies, were based upon these.) but they have gone from "potentially affordable" to "holy hell."
"I have seen the first of the new tanks today. They are beautiful."

Wow, I remember that film. For some reason or other, which I'll never know, my class was shown that film at school in 71/72, when I was 12/13.

I am not sure I would want to own one but there was one that caught my eye in the film "The Man who never was" set in 1943 there it was a pale blue Austin A30, It was first seen at the London Motor Show in 1952 so this one was a little impatient.

From a TV show, a Volvo P1800 from "The Saint".
P1800, P1800S, or P1800E--I'm not picky!
Mike.
