A bit more done tonight. Removed unwanted plastic and cleaned up the turret to allow the gun to move through its full movement.

I also did the same with the gun mantle.

The last bit of work was to start the mantle cover.

Looking at the pictures I might need to do it again.

What is the material used for the mantle cover?

Now this is a very lovely build, and some clever ideas. Well done. Looking forward to seeing it progress!

Don't sell yourself short. I find it all interesting.
Agreed. This is all great stuff. I have an admitted fondness for NVA vehicles, so I'm quite interested to see the final result.

I now have to work out what to do with a surplus recoil unit.
Ahh, now that's the easy bit. Dug in tank, mobile turret with static hull.

You have probably guessed right.

Wrong, it is from a parasol. We don’t need umbrellas up here in Scotland, due to our near 365 days of brilliant sunshine and Caribbean climate. 😂😂😂 We need to maintain our pasty complexions.

Thank you. I cannot take credit for plagiarism of others work. But I will.

Dang it! I just ordered an umbrella, I'll see if I can cancel that and order a parasol instead.

Umbrella, parasol, and (a US term) bumbershoot material: I need to remember that. Then, too, I will be interested to see the greater range of motion for the gun. Even the guns controlled by servos seem not to be able to lower into the gunlock or raise to full height. Good work!
