What gun/recoil unit are you going to put inside the turret ?

I have a micro servo for the recoil and a regular sized servo for elevation. That’s something I still need to engineer. Shouldn’t be too difficult though.
I’m looking for inspiration in the bottom of my tequila bottle😁

Progress so far. I cut the turret doors off and removed the plastic that was behind them to allow for some door damage and a peek at the interior. I had to reconstruct the gun mantlet with styrene to make it appropriate for my tank after I removed the armor shield. Now I’m in the process of practically destroying the upper hull.
This tank survived its last battle but its fighting days are over.

There we are... Lets Go Jimster!!!

I'm lovin this. Will it be a static smoking smoldering heap, or will it still be able to crawl around?

That is one fantastic tank and build mate. Is that a Taigen hull and with the motor unit from Forgebear, was it a bolt in or did you have to modify to fit. Reminds me of a Tiger 1 photo that looks like swiss cheese and was still going .Regard's John.

Thanks, man! You are correct on all counts. The gearbox bolts right up but I did have to trim the top edge of the gearbox slightly and carved a shallow trench under the upper hull to allow the hull to sit all the way down on the lower hull. Wasn’t too hard to do.
