My build for winter 23/24 is a Tamiya based M4A3E8 up armoured version from the 4th Armoured division.
Here’s some photos of them in war. Early T66 tracks, split hatch and various armour add ons.

Picked up a nice full option Sherman with Impact T66 metal tracks.
Then this happened… Nick Aguilar cast hull - I changed my mind…

Spent yesterday cutting out the plastic card from my old plans I still had from my last up armoured Sherman.
End result from yesterdays work.

Great. The more Shermans the better.

Thanks Herman, Kaczor
Just ordered a Taigen upper hull to cut the rear deck out as this Sherman had the Ford GAA V8 engine.

Um, ok if you say so, as Im no Shermaholic, but I do like any add on armour that is a pain to build and worse to handle during battery changes

Hacking and whacking up Tamy's and Taigens? This has just got to be good. Beyond my pay grade for sure but definitely adventurous.

So if I have this correct, your up-armored hull is a Tamiya (the original one in the first few pictures)?
I love those tracks!

Correct, welded M4A3 hull, with some more welded bits on top for good measure!
Selling the cast hull as I prefer the meaty add on look.
The T66 tracks are my favourite for the Easy8 Sherman, then the rubber T84 type.
