HALLOWEEEEEN
What do you other members get upto over Halloween?
Normally Catherine & myself go a little mad, Halloween i dont think is that big in the UK, although in our little village we do like to make a bit of a fuss
Our kids are now at that age where they are getting into the spirit of it rather than just having the crap scared out of them haha
I will try and share some pictures, but if any of you do anything even Pumpkin carving, why not share and we can all join in the fun together

Re: HALLOWEEEEEN
My wife puts a couple of pumpkins uncarved on the front porch. Sigh...
We've gone from 200+ kids when we lived in Ottawa, to about 30 at our last house, and now that we're well and truly in the country--0 kids. Miss those days of taking my kids around and putting all kinds of stuff along the driveway for good scare value. The remotely tripped leafblower hidden in the hedge got the most shock value!
Still, we keep a bag of candy on hand just in case. Of course, somebody has to eat it afterwards!
Mike.

One of the guys in the RCTankCombat group, mounted a ghost on his 1/6th scale Cromwell and was driving it around his yard.

I'm so far out in the sticks, I haven't bought a bag of candy in five years. Even the squirrels quit coming around!

Our little effort. Only done for the nieces, and the wee ones on either side. All in a tent on the back garden.

Good All Hallows Eve!
We are in Ecams Boat as well. Very far out in a place with hardly any children. We still celebrate with a full display including Jack O Lanterns, lights, a fog machine and spooky noises. Some animatronic heads round it out. It mostly for us but helps us get into the Spirit of It. ;o) Happy Howl O' Ween to all!
regards,
Painless Wolf

Re: HALLOWEEEEEN
"The remotely tripped leafblower hidden in the hedge got the most shock value!" Oh, man, that is a great idea! One of my modeler friends made ants out of black balloons and heavy pipe-cleaner, set them emerging from a smoky hole in the ground, fanning out all over the front yard, and up on the front porch where they climbed over a skeleton in an Orkin Pest Control uniform.

Saw some nice places on my last trip to Northern Spain and i always do a walk at night. Not used to such historical places in the new world. Thought you might enjoy the real creepy stuff.
