My name is Dave Priddy and I am new to the Radio-controlled tank world and can't wait to get started in this new hobby for me. I'm 62 years old, married for 25 years. I live in Abilene, Texas. I have two stepsons and their wives and two grown grandsons. My vocation is Computer/Network Technician with over 25 years experience. I currently work for Envoy Air as an Inventory Control Specialist, pulling parts and supplies for A/P Mechanics who work in different hangars and areas. My interests and hobbies are building computers and muscle car restoration.

Hello and welcome from a moist Scotland.
You have come to the right forum for tanks, not sure about muscle car restoration. We need pictures of both your tanks and cars. Old Citroen cars, and East German bikes are my motoring fortes.

Welcome from Amsterdam—wait! What’s an old guy from southern Wisconsin doing in Amsterdam!?? Well, it’s a long story, mostly involving a septuagenarian who found a sweetheart who likes to travel. Anyhoo, welcome and have fun. Yes, if you show car photos I’ll ‘splain to these furriners.

That was my Dads first car out of high school back in 1965. Maroon hardtop 289.

Yip, 289 with the option of T-shift centre console and factory A/C this was. We got it in 2008 & it arrived here in 09 after sitting for a while.
Was for sale outside a closed down super market in Enid, Okl.
The owner came over in it to a steak house we were in once he got the email message.
Was inside the first 500 ever made.

Welcome from Ontario, Canada!
I'm closing in on your age, and after restoring a couple of 70's Triumph sportscars, my back and knees are telling me they like just driving them much more. Kudos on still restoration wrenching!
Mike.
